I don't think any of you guys who visit my profile know, but I've taken up instrument building, thanks to a very nice guy I met here in Trondheim. He has his own workshop and tools, which makes the building so much easer.

I'm currently making a psalmodikon, a bowed zither from scandinavia and the baltics, which is also used by Skyforger on Zobena Dziesma
I've built the sides and end block, and the sound board. But I need a sound hole design before gluing it to the body!

So, are there any smart guys with a suggestion for me out there? I would love the sound hole to be based on a traditional pattern or symbol, but I can't think of any proper ones... And they need to have a relatively simple design. Not any crazy celtic knots or anything
