Once again, it's time for a new update. I've been thinking a lot lately, and I've decided to begin with a new photo project. In this project, I shall try to illustrate my
interpretiation of the runes in the elder futhark. I will try to discover what the nature behind the runes means to me, through the medium of the photography.
This will by
no means be a small project, and I expect it to take at least a year, given that I have to do certain runes in certain seasons of the year. I've been planning most of this vacation, and I've lain plans for how some of the rune photos will be. Remember, I will only try to portray my view on the nature behind the rune. I won't necessarily illustrate
with the rune itself.
I've been out much of this day freezing my ass off while trying to capture the
Hagal rune. I hope that I may also get to do the
Is and
Laugr rune this weekend, before school starts again.
I hope you all will follow my travel through the elder futhark, and that you will enjoy the results! I will always love feedback on my work

And because I am a lazy bastard (and because I think it's unecessary to take new picture, as this is perfectly fine) I've decided that
Jeran, which is an old photo in here, will be the first picture in my
rune series.

Last: It would be a lie to say that this all came to me in a sudden moment. The musical constellation
Wardruna has been a great source of inspiration for me, and it was this project that first set me on this idea. So, once again, as an act of honouring - Enjoy Wardruna's amazing music:
